Wayne Bridge has extended his contract at Chelsea to four years, up from 18 months.
Bridge's future at the club seemed in doubt when the Blues brought in Ashley Cole during the summer, but the England international has still managed playing time in Jose Mourinho's side.
Cole is also first choice left-back ahead of Bridge for England as well.
