Jose Mourinho has apologized to Everton's Andrew Johnson for claiming the striker dived to earn a penalty.
Replays showed Johnson lunged to avoid Chelsea keeper Hilario, but the controversial striker appeared to make no claim for a penalty.
The penalty was awarded anyway prompting Mourinho's accusations.
Everton had threatened to take the matter to the FA, but Mourinho's apologies to player, coach, and organization has settled the matter.
Chelsea went on to win the match 3-2.
