Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is expected to return this season after suffering ligament damage in a 3-0 win over Blackburn on Wednesday.
The England international was stretchered-off after catching his left boot in the turf causing his leg to hyper-extend.
Chelsea have been riddled with injuries in defense, although central defender John Terry is expected back on Saturday versus Charlton.
The Blues however, are well-covered at left-back. Wayne Bridge, who also backs-up for Cole on the England national team, is hardly a step down.
