The Premier League has finally given clearance for Javier Mascherano to play for Liverpool.
FIFA had previously ok'ed the transfer that bends rules preventing a player from featuring for three teams in a season starting July 1.
Exceptions were made since one of the teams Mascherano had played for was in Brazil where the schedule does not match Europe's.
Mascherano has made the trip to Barcelona and is eligible to play in Wednesday's Champions League first-leg tie.
