Americans George Gillett and Tom Hicks are reportedly taking over Liverpool for £470m.

Rumours of a buy-out of the legendary club have been rife for the last few years, but it appears one has finally gone through.

There is a news conference at 1400 GMT and the deal has already been announced on the Stock Exchange.
